SUE MERINO, MA, CCC-SLP, COMĀ®
Sue has 20 years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of scholastic, outpatient clinical, and hospital settings. Originally from New England, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders with a Minor in Spanish from Pennsylvania State University. She received her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University. Sue has completed post-graduate training in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders through the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy under the direction of Joy L Moeller, B.S., R.D.H. and from the International Association of Orofacial Myology under the direction of Kristie Gatto, M.A., CCC-SLP, COMĀ®. Sue is consistently taking Continuing Education classes in order to better serve her patients and their families. She has earned the ASHA Award for Continuing Education multiple times. She has experience evaluating and treating clients with a wide range of disorders and therapy needs from childhood to adulthood with a specialization in Orofacial Myofunction Disorders and Articulation Disorders. Sue is not only a therapist, but a mother and wife as well. She understands first-hand how the health and well-being of all ages with the home is important for the entire family dynamic. Sue is a graduate of the Myo Master Minds Program, a 9 month hands-on collective learning experience.
