AMANDA CHASTAIN MA, CCC-SLP, COM - SPEAKER
Amanda Chastain is an ASHA certified and Kentucky Licensed speech-language pathologist with specialization in the areas of orofacial myology and pediatric feeding.
She is a board-certified orofacial myologist (COMĀ®), a certified breath coach through Yoga Teacher's College, and a certified TummyTime! Method Instructor. She is the creator and instructor of Guided Oral Movements with Active Patterning (GOMAP) for infant and toddler feeding, co-instructor for both Understanding the Orofacial Complex (30-hour orofacial myology training), and myo-based mini modules for Growth & Collaboration with Kristie Gatto, MA, CCC-SLP, COM, and is a past president of the International Association of Orofacial Myology. Amanda also provides parent and professional coaching services in these areas of expertise. As the owner and director of Therapy Specialist Network, she dedicates her focus of practice to oral dysfunction from birth across the lifespan; including supporting families as their babies learn to feed and thrive.
Her intervention programs are guided by an inclusive mindset that integrates airway health, sleep hygiene, brain & body connection, and optimal oral function as a foundation to help patients and their families reach their full biologic potential. A focus on developing movement and rhythms that create synchronized body systems for peak wellness results in intervention programs that generate positive and lasting change. Happy. Healthy.
